The open-air ballpark includes 40,000 seats, 105 private suites, a stadium club and restaurant, parking ramp for 1,000 spaces and 1,500 surface parking spaces. Designed architect was HOK Sport (Populous) with SHG Architects and constructed by the Huber, Hunt and Nichols, Turner and White Joint Venture, the $325 million ballpark project opened in April 2000.
