IFG represented Bexar County during all phases of development of the new home for the San Antonio Spurs, located at the county fairgrounds on the city’s near east side. The 730,000 square foot arena includes 18,500 seats, two public concourses, two private concourses, 54 suites, restaurants, and a Fan Fiesta area for kids. Contained on a 175-acre site, it accommodates more than 7,000 surface parking spaces. Designed by Ellerbe Becket and constructed by Hunt Construction Group, the $175 million arena opened in the Fall 2002.
