In this scope of work VIESTE LLC, as a consultant of Village of Estero staff, was responsible for the assisting the Village with the oversight, and solicitation process in which the Village sought qualified private sports, recreation and entertainment providers for a mixed-use development project contemplated by the Village as part of their 2018 Open Space Master Plan. This process included gathering Village of Estero requirements, crafting, and posting a solicitation that reflects said the Village’s needs, an initial evaluation to select shortlisted vendors, follow-up discussions and meetings with shortlisted vendors, completing the final evaluation, and notifying selected vendor(s) of award. VIESTE is now executing the negotiations with interested parties and production of definitive agreements while assisting the Village with predevelopment.

Entertainment District:
The Entertainment District will be approximately “20” acres of sports and entertainment use that will be encompassed by what will be eventually branded as “The Hub” located in the Village of Estero. High 5 Entertainment has begun construction at the district and will be the first of several family entertainment center’s (FEC’s) that will be a part of the initiative. The Village anticipates the addition of complementary sports and recreation concepts and is actively seeking “Lifestyle” partners specializing in health, wellness, fitness, food, and nutrition. Expected completion of the Entertainment District is targeted for Fall of 2026.

Maintenance Facility:
The Village has recently begun the relocation of a maintenance facility which is contained in “The Hub” to open the parcel to an additional family entertainment concept. This new maintenance facility will be constructed north of “The Hub” with an expected construction completion targeted for Spring of 2026.
